Dr. Soeprijanto is a full-time lecturer of the Faculty of Engineering and a full-time lecturer of the Research and Educational Evaluation Program of Postgraduate Studies, Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ). Chosen as Vice Rector for Cooperation Affairs of UNJ for the period May 2006 – 2010, he is responsible for initiating, maintaining, and enhancing cooperation affairs and UNJ networking among local, national and international institutions. In order to encourage UNJ collaboration with other institutions, Dr. Soeprijanto has participated and been a presenter in many international seminars and workshops. In addition, he is an active researcher in vocational education, teacher practical performance, and technical engineering. His latest paper "Instrument of Practice Teacher Performance in Technical Specialization" was presented in the First Congress on Teacher Education for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Bandung, Indonesia in July 2008. The Congress was organized by the Ministry of National Education of Indonesia to develop Transnational Standards for Teacher Training for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TT-TVET) Europe Universities – Asia Link. In line with UNJ membership in USINTEC, Dr. Soeprijanto was chosen as the USINTEC Institutional Director for UNJ and the Indonesian Associate Director of USINTEC. Dr. Soeprijanto began his career as a full-time lecturer at UNJ Faculty of Engineering in 1987. He began four years of service as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in 2001. He has also been actively involved as General Secretary of the Indonesian Education Association (Ikatan Sarjana Pendidikan Indonesia). Dr. Soeprijanto received his doctoral degree in Educational Evaluation from UNJ Postgraduate Studies in 2005.
